80 hours of community service for throwing a stone at the gendarmes

In July 2017 the gendarmes are called because a brawl with a stabbing weapon is underway in Quartier d'Orléans.

On arriving at the scene, the soldiers are taken to task and are the object of stone throwing. There is no brawl, it was a trap set for the gendarmes. A 19-year-old boy was prosecuted.

LPP appeared at the hearing but was very shy. He explained that he was not aware of the trap that had been set up. However, when his girlfriend told him that the gendarmes were arriving, he wanted to stay "to see". "I did like everyone else," he says. He laughed and took a stone from the ground and threw it. According to the images of the surveillance cameras, it is the stone which broke the windshield of the gendarmes' car.

The youngster was sentenced to 80 hours of community service and a fine of 200 euros. (more details on www.soualigapost.com)
