The facts took place on Monday, November 14. A woman who was walking was violently hit by a car. She was transported to Sint Maarten Medical Center in critical condition.
According to the first elements of the investigation, a motorist lost control of his vehicle in the Dawn Beach Estate sector, on a wet stretch of road before hitting and then rolling over the person.
The emergency services arrived quickly on the scene of the accident transported the victim to the hospital in a critical condition. She suffers from shoulder, rib and head injuries.
