An agreement to end the strike was signed last Friday at the Tourist Office by the president Jeanne Rogers-Vanterpool, the acting director Kate Richardson and the deputy staff representative Grégoire Dumel following negotiations in the presence of labor inspector Claude Sangua, announced Mr. Dumel.
Grégoire Dumel said he was satisfied with the negotiations, specifying that other subjects will be discussed during a meeting next month between the staff representatives, the interim management and the president. “It has also been decided that no deduction of wages will be made following the two days of strike. Mr. Dumel thanks all the staff of the Tourist Office, the comrades of the CGTG and the UGTG, as well as the many people who have shown their support ”, he said.
