Arbovirosis: calm situation in Saint-Martin

These are encouraging data: few cases of dengue, zika and chikungunya have been recorded in Saint-Martin, according to the latest epidemiological bulletin on arboviruses in the Antilles, published by Santé Publique France. Regarding dengue, the number of clinically suggestive cases has been less than ten weekly since the third week of February 2017. Over the same period, no consultations for signs suggestive of chikungunya were reported by general practitioners. A likely case was identified in week 9, the bulletin said. Finally for zika, the estimated weekly number of consultations is less than 15 since the third week of February. _EH
