Launched on Tuesday morning in the COM hotel, this event was designed as “accelerated” following road blockages last December to “answer a certain number of questions and put all the social issues on the table " Until Friday, public meetings will be held at 18 p.m. in Sandy Ground, Marigot, Grand Case and Quartier d'Orléans to allow discussions. The population - young and old - is invited to participate in order to express their needs. "For the first time, social workers working in different institutions or in field associations will be able to share their difficulties in exercising their profession in the face of the complexity of social realities and the increasingly pressing expectations of citizens", said added Daniel Gibbs who, via these Assises, wished to satisfy a request from the collective L'Union du Peuple Saint-Martin.
