The regional airline Ava Air launched its first direct Fort-de-France / Grand-Case flight last Friday. Kate Richardson, director of the Saint-Martin Tourist Office and Alain Russel, president of SESMA (Société d'Exploitation de Saint-Martin Aéroport), welcomed the Jet Stream 32 at Grand-Case airport. Elisabeth Renard, the general manager of the company, was present for the occasion. Two direct weekly flights are offered between Martinique and Saint-Martin: departures Monday at 8:50 am and Friday at 14:45 pm, with returns Monday at 10:40 am and Friday at 16:45 pm.
