Great success for Math Week

The success was there thanks to the investment of math teams from secondary schools, teachers from kindergarten to elementary and management teams from first and second degree.

At the Quartier d'Orléans middle school, pupils of CM1 from the two neighboring elementary schools were able to discover an exhibition on March 19 on the theme: "Mathematics in everyday life", explain the organizers. At the Mont des Accords secondary school, three CM level classes from the surrounding schools Emile Choisy, Nina Duverly and Hervé Williams 2 visited the Archimède workshop in the context of educational support. They also discovered the exhibition "The dream life of math," said the committee. On March 20, at the Mont des Accords secondary school, pupils from the 3rd year participated in a workshop on the construction of patterns of irregular pyramids. Finally, on March 23, at Soualiga college, an inter-degree workshop enabled 6th graders to offer a mathematics rally to CM2 students from Grand-Case and Cul-de-Sac schools.
