On the morning of March 24, 2019, the gendarmerie of Marigot intervened on the beach of Baie Nettlé following the discovery of a lifeless body on the shore.
A perimeter of prohibition on the place of the discovery was set up in order to allow the Technicians in Criminal Identification of the gendarmerie to carry out observations of uses.
At the moment, the circumstances of the death are not clearly determined.
The public prosecutor confirms the seizure of the gendarmerie of Saint Martin to conduct the investigation.
