According to the latest epidemiological bulletin from the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS) concerning dengue fever in Reunion, the virus is making resistance in the town of Saint-Joseph, despite a decrease in the number of cases. "In addition, current conditions are particularly conducive to the vector and viral circulation is likely to intensify and / or spread to other sectors of the island in the coming weeks", specifies the institute. A total of 17 indigenous cases of dengue fever have been identified.
