On Friday January 22, the national education service of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin paid tribute to Doctor Hélène Coutens who, to use the accepted expression, asserted his pension rights.
En effect, Hélène Coutens, National Education doctor for many years in Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy, has decided to retire on March 1, 2021 and to begin a new phase of life, here and elsewhere.
The Vice-Rector thanked Dr Hélène Coutens for her commitment and dedication. He insisted on his availability, particularly in emergency situations. Finally, he recalled the importance of the role and missions of the doctors of the National Education, especially in our territories.
Doctor Hélène Coutens will be replaced by a national education doctor who will take up his duties in mid-February so as to be able to ensure a tiling with his colleague who will share with him her long experience and skills.
We sincerely wish a long and happy retirement to Doctor Hélène Coutens!
