Deconfinement plan: lhe main measures of the decree taken by the Prefecture
During a press conference organized on Friday May 15, the Delegate Prefect of the Northern Islands, Sylvie Feucher unveiled the main lines of the new deconfinement plan which will take place on Monday May 18 in Saint-Martin (Order 2020 - 101).
- Restaurants open until 23 p.m.
- Opening of religious establishments. The gathering of people is limited to 20 people in these establishments
- Opening of outdoor establishments. Any grouping of more than 50 people is prohibited. Team sports are prohibited. Only individual disciplines are allowed
- Establishments authorized to welcome the public are required to organize access procedures that allow them to respect the social distancing measures and the barrier gestures necessary to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
- Access and walking on the beaches are authorized in compliance with the measures provided (decree 2020 - 548) which provides for social distancing measures and allows the prefect to take prohibition measures proportionate to the health situation
- The practice of swimming at sea and non-motorized, individual, club and professional nautical activities is authorized subject to compliance with the measures laid down (decree 2020 - 548) and compliance with the charter for the organization of nautical activities signed between professionals and associations in the sector and the Prefecture
- Boating remains prohibited on any type of boat
- In view of the hurricane season, the navigation of pleasure craft which must leave the waters of Saint-Martin is authorized for a transatlantic crossing or wintering in the south of the Antilles.
- This decree takes effect on May 18
