The St. Maarten Heineken Regatta will take place from March 2-5. Since 2015, the Dutch side has hosted all of the events. In 2016, the merchants of the Royal Marina had negotiated directly with Heineken in order to organize an After-Sail party. "This time, the evening at the Marina Royale is included in the program," says Regatta director Michelle van der Werff. Thus, on March 1, a Pre-Sail Party will be held at the Royal Marina. Then on Monday March 6, a race of remote-controlled sailboats will take place throughout the afternoon at Sand (Nettle Bay). The awards ceremony will follow during a Caribbean barbecue evening at the Beach Hotel in Marigot. (More details on Soualigapost.com)
