Two men, visibly drunk, capsized their small wooden boat yesterday in the lagoon of Simpson Bay
Witnesses on the bridge alerted the police, who immediately went on the scene with the reinforcement of several Dutch soldiers. Fortunately, the two individuals were able to be rescued and brought back to dry land.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the two highly alcoholic men quarreled and capsized their boat.
The tests confirmed that the two people were under the influence of alcohol.
Finally, no complaint was filed and the two friends left free as the air. All's well That ends well !
