Florencia Hunt, a good example for young people to follow

Before participating in the various workshops, the students had the honor of meeting Florencia Hunt, the first and last Saint-Martin athlete to have participated in the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000 in the 800 meters.

After listening to the valuable advice of the Saint-Martin champion, the young budding athletes were able to learn about certain events which will be present at the Olympic and Paralympic Games and others, namely sailing with the College Sports Association Mont des Accords, educational boxing with the ABC Intersports club, rugby with the Archiball club, football with  the League of Saint-Martin, baseball with the Saint-Martin Baseball-Softball association, athletics with the Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin, tennis with the TCISM, pétanque with the Cariboule club, cricket with the Cricket Conqueror's association and breakdancing, a new Olympic discipline with the Variation Event association.
