The presidential election already seems a long way off: all eyes are now on next month's legislative elections. The prefecture has just announced the dates for the Northern Islands, fixed by decree: Saturday June 10, for the first round, and Saturday June 17, for the second round. The state services specify that the declarations of candidacies will be registered at the prefecture from May 15 until May 19 at 18 p.m. To be eligible for the mandate of deputy, “it is necessary to be over 18 years of age, to have the quality of voter and not to be in a case of electoral incapacity or ineligibility provided for by law (LO 127)”.
