LEGISLATIVE ELECTIONS: Frantz Gumbs and Daniel Gibbs qualified for the second round

At the end of the first round of the legislative elections Frantz Gumbs came out on top with 2383 votes, he won 47,09% of the votes cast in the constituency. He is ahead of Daniel Gibbs by 985 votes who obtains 27,62% of the votes cast (1398 votes).

The other candidates achieve less than 10% of the votes cast: Béatrice Cazé obtains 448 votes (8,85%), Claire Javois obtains 330 votes (6,52%), Sabrina Rivere obtains 304 votes (6,01%) and Victor Paines 199 votes including 197 on Saint-Martin (3,93%).

Only Frantz Gumbs and Daniel Gibbs qualified for the second round which will take place next Saturday.

In Saint-Martin, it was Frantz Gumbs who came out on top with 2070 votes, ie 993 more than Daniel Gibbs. They obtained respectively 49,94% and 25,98% of the votes cast.

In St. Barts, Daniel Gibbs was ahead of Frantz Gumbs by 8 votes, he obtained 321 votes and Frantz Gumbs 313 votes. They obtained respectively 35,04% and 34,17% of the votes cast. (soualigapost.com)
