The Colombier “Sea Horse and Sun” club traveled to Martinique last weekend to defend the colors of Saint-Martin, on the occasion of the Grand Caribbean stage.
Camille Allard went there with her protégés, Lilou Deroïj, Kyara Meziere, Natea Rosso, Luna Baron and Philippine Lecuyer. All were competing against riders from Suriname, Martinique, Guyana, Guadeloupe, Jamaica, Dominica, Antigua and even from Canada!
140 riders were gathered for this great event!
Three events on the program:
• Friday started with the Friendship test in which the invited riders discover their mount on time-delayed Barême A tests.
For this round, Lilou and Kyara went up to HOPE (90)
Kyara finishes with 4 pts in 10th place
Lilou finishes with 7 pts in 13 th place
Natea and Luna went up in ELITE test (1m)
Natea flawlessly finished in 6 th place
Luna ranks 9 pts at 13 th place
Filipino in Grand Prix (105) finished in 1 pt in 1 st place!
• The Saturday : very technical tracks for all events
In Hope: 40 riders at the start
Lilou finishes in 26 th place in 10 pts
Kyara ranks 27th in 12 pts
In Elite:
Natea finishes in 8 pts
Luna falls on a double after a big jump
In Grand Prix:
Philippine finishes in 12 pts at the 9 th place
• Sunday: tests Schedule A against the clock with Barrage
Hope test:
Kyara finishes in 4 pts in 18th place
Lilou is eliminated with 3 refusals
Elite test:
Natea finishes in 4 pts in 9 th place
Luna slightly injured the day before did not start
Grand Prix event:
Philippine finishes in 4 pts in 7th place
Natea wins the Elegance Prize
Note that the next meeting is scheduled in Guadeloupe next month.
But before this new important meeting, the Sea Horse and Sun center is organizing its first INTER-CARIBBEAN at the end of March with the arrival of riders from Martinique, Guadeloupe and Guyana who will be opposed to "our" Saint-Martin representatives.
