For security actors, it was a question of informing and raising awareness of the population about their missions on the territory, but also for some of them to initiate recruitments.
Meeting with the firefighters
At the Saint-Martin fire brigade stand, the public was able to attend a large-scale deployment demonstration. Their work equipment was presented by specialty: GRIMP (Group of Recognition and Intervention in Perilous Environment), fire fighting and aquatic rescue (SAV).
“There are two recruitments in progress at the moment: the first to integrate professional firefighters and the second for volunteer firefighters. The last selections took place a few days ago and the selected candidates will leave for training very soon. ” says Sergeant Rolland.
