The association USEP Iles du Nord and the Saint-Martin Football League proceeded, on Wednesday, June 28, to the awarding of prizes as part of the operation "Foot at school".
The two North Island laureates received a French team jersey as a departmental trophy, accompanied by a poster of the French teams (male and female) and a Young Footballer diploma for each student.
A “HERITAGE” material kit, consisting of balls, collapsible goals and chasubles, was also given to the ten elementary schools in Saint-Martin for their involvement in the “Foot at school” project.
We would like to congratulate the principals and principals who are involved in this “Foot at School” project. But also Mr. Béchon and the French Football Federation, as well as the elected representative, Sophia Carti, for his participation in the implementation of the sports component in the schools of Saint-Martin. _AF

President Daniel Gibbs and Mrs. Annick Pétrus, 3rd Vice-President in charge of Education, congratulate the public schools Clair St Maximin and Emile Larmonie, in particular the CM2 class of Mrs. Doressamy (Clair St Maximin school) and the class of CE1-CE2 by Madame Arnaud (Emile Larmonie school), distinguished, Wednesday, June 28, 2017, as part of the national competition “Foot at school”. This competition, organized by the French Football Federation in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports and the USEP, helped to promote young athletes.
The President welcomed the commitment of the school directors who participated in this operation aimed at democratizing the practice of football in schools, as well as the teachers and students who were involved in this project.
