Before playing the phase interregional of the U13 Pitch Festival in Pointe-à-Pitre, players and managers of AS Phoenicks received encouragement from the President of the Saint-Martin Football League and elected officials from the Collectivity present at Grand-Case airport .
The AS Phoenicks team made the trip to Guadeloupe with the firm intention of competing with their strong opponents: the champions of Guadeloupe, Martinique and Guyana.
Note that the winner of the group would qualify for the national final phase in Capbreton on June 4th and 5th.
Despite good performances, the eleven Saint-Martinois had to bow during his various meetings. An experience which nevertheless remains beneficial and encouraging for the mixed team of AS Phoenicks which was able to compete at the high level.
Several elements of the Saint-Martin team have also made a strong impression on the coaches of the young selections, including the two players Maïilly Moutou and Ramaïka Beausol and also the goalkeeper, Lendsey Benjamin who caught the eye of those responsible for the recruitment unit of the Pôle Espoirs de Guadeloupe. _AF
