FOOTBALL (MEMORIAL CLAUDE TAGE): Junior Stars succeeds Juventus de St-Martin!

Fourteen teams took part in the 2nd edition of the Claude Tage Memorial organized on May 25 and 26 at the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium which saw the victory of Junior Stars.

In honor of the late Claude Tage, a key figure in Saint-Martin football, the tournament bearing his name brought together fourteen teams from Saint-Martin, Saint-Barthélemy and Guadeloupe (category U 13). Played in an excellent state of mind, the matches followed one another throughout the weekend. In terms of results, Junior Stars won in the final against the winner of the 1st edition, Juventus de Saint-Martin, with a score of two to zero. The small final was won by the Sint Maarten team, Risc Takers at the expense of the Guadeloupean team from Solidarité Scolaire.

Numerous awards were presented at the end of the Claude Tage Memorial. A big congratulations to all the teams present as well as to the leaders of the Junior Stars club who worked to ensure the smooth running of the tournament.
