The Community of Saint-Martin is implementing the State Nursing Assistant Diploma for the year 2023-2024 and is creating a territorial Health and Social grant system to reduce the social divide.
As part of the Territorial Health and Social Training Scheme and the launch of the Territorial Health and Social Training Program, the Community of Saint-Martin fully exercises its competence in training to meet the needs for qualified professionals, anticipating the aging of the population and, at the same time, fight against exclusion and mass unemployment. For the 2023-2024 school year, 24 candidates are selected to join the nursing assistant training provided by OPA Formation Santé – Social for the State Diploma. An annual subsidy of €300.000 is granted covering administrative expenses and those linked to educational activity. The Community also contributes to the investment, maintenance and operating expenses of the premises of this training center. As an extension of this action and the fight against inequalities, the Community is creating a territorial health and social grant system. This financial support targets trainees, pupils and students in health and social training registered in approved training establishments. The aid is between €1.600 and €6.700 depending on the level chosen. The budget dedicated to this scholarship in the health and social sector is €529.300 for the period 2023/2024, i.e. €449.905 financed under priority 3 of the PON FSE+ 2021-2027 of the European Social Fund corresponding to 85% and €79.395 self-financed by the Community. _VX
