The associations of Saint-Martin are mobilizing to offer free cultural and sports activities to children in priority neighborhoods

As part of the “Summer quarters 2020” scheme funded to the tune of € 200 by the State, several associations of Saint-Martin are mobilized throughout the summer to offer free cultural and sports activities to children in priority districts of all ages. The Prefect of the Northern Islands went to the beach of Friar's Bay yesterday morning to meet several managers of the clubs involved: Thierry Saint-Auret, from the Caribbean Karate Oyama club, Jessica Della-Vedova from the Ranch du Galion, and Antoine Bonna, from the Friar's Bay Sailing Club. In addition to karate, horseback riding and sailing, boxing, street art workshops, Libraries Without Borders workshops, football, beach soccer and road safety workshops mentioned above will also be offered. Learning camps will also be organized in August: 000 young people from Saint-Martin will take part in a one-week trip to Les Saintes.
