On Thursday, July 20, the court of Basse-Terre held the judgment in immediate appearance of a 26-year-old individual who committed a theft aggravated by three repeat circumstances, committed on May 11, 2023 in Grand-Case to the detriment of tourists who had been dispossessed of their property as they left a restaurant.
After deliberation, the court sentenced the defendant to a four-year prison term, two of which were suspended.
At the end of the hearing, the person was kept in detention. _AF
