At the end of the second round of the legislative elections, La République en Marche and its MoDem ally won 350 seats out of the 577 in the National Assembly, according to figures from the Ministry of the Interior, ahead of Les Républicains and its allies with 137 seats. The REM-MoDem alliance therefore reaches an absolute majority of 289 seats. This week, the new elected officials will have the leisure to go to the Palais Bourbon for their deputy briefcase including the rules of the National Assembly.
