“We started coming to the Caribbean islands in the early 2010s and strangely enough, we had not yet made a stopover here, in Saint-Martin. Then it became like a challenge, to keep Saint-Martin as the very last destination, as if we were saving the best for last because, damn it, we were told about this island, and for good! I now understand better what we have been told, the atypical side of the island "cut" in two, even on vacation here, you just have to cross the border to feel out of place. And then I am a great lover of cuisine and the food is delicious in Saint-Martin, the local specialties, Creole cuisine, I wouldn't need more to come back very quickly, or even to settle there. “I had been on a cruise ship several years ago, but we weren't there long enough to truly enjoy. To be completely honest, I didn't want to get back on the boat at the end of the day! There is something with this island, it marks, in a good way, since that day, I only wanted to come back. Life and everything that goes with it delayed my return but that's it, I'm there again and it makes me really happy. I love the mix of cultures, the carefree people, and the people are so nice. You well deserve your reputation as a "friendly island"! " Jamo - USA
“My family wanted to stay in Europe but I had dreamed of traveling to the Caribbean for so long so I came without them. It's a real cultural and thermal shock for me! I feel like I'm in a postcard, with stunning beaches and magical sunsets. Coming here was particularly close to my heart because I still remember perfectly well the images broadcast on the news channel after Irma's visit, it touched me when I was completely foreign to Saint-Martin until then. . You can still see traces of the hurricane but it strengthens the soul of the island in my eyes. " Sofie - Denmark
“It's a rather special trip for me, my grandfather is from Saint-Martin. He met my grandmother who is American when she was visiting Saint-Martin, they fell in love and she returned to America with my grandfather in his suitcase! When I was a child, he told me lots of stories about Saint-Martin, promising to take me there one day. We were supposed to come together last year but it couldn't be done because of the pandemic. Then he fell ill… If I am here today, it is to pay homage to him and to follow in his footsteps. I discover Saint-Martin with the feeling of knowing every nook and cranny. This place is as beautiful as in my grandfather's words. " Joline - U.S.A.
