Mikaël Dore, sub-prefect hors classe, sub-prefect of Pontivy in Morbihan, was appointed secretary general of the prefecture of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin by decree on January 21. He replaces Régine Pam who got a job at the Elysée at the end of 2018, a year after arriving in Saint-Martin.
Mikaël Dore has a license in sociology and educational sciences and a STAPS license. After having been departmental director of youth and sports in Yonne, Côtes d'Armor and Aude, he was appointed sub-prefect in Ariège and in the Alpes de Haute-Provence then in Seine-Maritime and in Pays de la Loire as coordinator and project manager. He was sub-prefect in Morbihan in Brittany since April 2015.
