New hunting season: public consultation

In Saint-Martin and Guadeloupe, the draft prefectural decrees relating to the 2016-2017 hunting season are subject to public consultation. Until June 16, you will be able to share your observations with the Department of the Environment, Development and Housing (DEAL). For our territory, the general opening period for shooting hunting has been set from July 24, 2016 at 5 a.m. to January 1, 2017. Several species of game - soursop mockingbird, white-crowned pigeon, crescent dove, etc. - can only be hunted during this period. As part of the management plan for sedentary game, a quota has been set up per hunter for certain species. The draft prefectural decrees are accessible online: Your comments should be sent by email: _EH
