Her lawyer explains that she is a restaurateur on the Dutch side and that she had to go to work because she lost all her staff after Irma. An absence that does not work in his favor. "She didn't bother going to court. It is a shame because when you are innocent it is better to come ”comments the prosecutor Yves Paillard.

The court found DJ guilty of all the facts and sentenced her to two months suspended prison sentence and a fine of 1000 euros. He also receives the constitution of civil party of KC and his stepfather MD and orders DJ to pay them respectively 500 and 2500 euros.
