Next Territorial Council Thursday

The next Territorial Council will take place this Thursday at 9 am at the Hôtel de la Collectivité. Four deliberations are on the agenda of this plenary session open to the public: authorizations to enter into negotiations with Générale des Eaux de Guadeloupe and with the Caribbean Seawater Desalination Union (UCDEM), referral for opinion of the Local Public Services Advisory Committee and modification of the Marigot Bay development project. As a reminder, this last point is an initiative of the former majority in favor of the local economy. It was in 2015 that the main orientations of this project had been validated in the Territorial Council, including the creation of maritime infrastructure intended to accommodate mega-yachts and cruises. _EH
