The results of the Megara program - monitoring the reproduction activities of humpback whales in the waters of the Northern Islands - were presented at the beginning of the month during the 2nd World Congress on Humpback Whales in Reunion. This event allowed participants to discover the various research works and to promote observation, study and conservation programs at local, regional and global level. A video on the Megara 2017 scientific mission is also online, announced the Saint-Martin Nature Reserve, which thanks its partners and Nicolas Kiechel “for this very beautiful film”.
