The Collectivity of Saint-Martin reminds users that parking in downtown Marigot is governed by a blue zone, Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 18 p.m. The purpose of the blue zone is to facilitate vehicle rotation and the sharing parking spaces in the city center. The blue zone covers the entire perimeter of downtown Marigot and extends to the outer contours of the city, on either side of the Boulevard de France.
Panel P: The blue zone is marked by blue ground markings and by the installation of traffic signs at the entrances and exits of the zone.
Disabled sign or Reserved Places Private parking spaces and reserved parking spaces (disabled spaces, delivery areas, and spaces reserved for donors) are not subject to limited-time parking in the blue zone.
Parking discs in the blue zone (1h30 authorized) are made available to the public at the Collectivity hotel in Marigot or from the territorial police in Marigot and Grand Case.
The absence of a parking disc in the blue zone constitutes an offense punishable by a lump sum fine of 17 € and the removal of the vehicle by the pound for prohibited parking. The territorial police are responsible for enforcing the decree in force (n ° 1034-2016).
Parking on the outskirts of the Blue zone
The Bellevue, Morne Rond (between Marigot and Sandy-Ground) and Galisbay car parks on the Waterfront can be used by motorists to park their vehicle outside the blue zone. The Galisbay car park is served by a free shuttle between 7 a.m. and 19 p.m., Monday to Friday.
The Collectivity of Saint-Martin thanks you for your active participation in the success of this parking regulation system.
Respect for the blue zone is a civic and civic gesture! _AF
