Restaurants at Nettle Bay: Three authorized reconstructions and one refused

In May 2019, the company that manages the Hommage hotel in Nettle Bay, had applied for a permit to rebuild its restaurant. In the absence of an examination of its file by the town planning services, it had obtained a tacit agreement before making an examination by the legality control service of the prefecture. The latter validated the procedure and the executive council thus confirmed the building permit.

Furthermore, the reconstruction of the Dream and the Sand, still at Nettle Bay, had been validated before being canceled by the executive council. In this file, it is not a building permit but a PD, a prior declaration, which had been filed at the beginning of August 2019. Two months later, a request for cancellation was made by the prefecture pending examination of the RFP by the legality review. The latter ultimately found no regularity in the award of the RFP.

Another request for reconstruction and extension of a restaurant which was the subject of an examination was that of the former Mati Beach, still at Nettle Bay. The new operator submitted a building permit request on October 30 to the planning department. The executive council deliberated in January on the file and gave an unfavorable opinion because the reconstruction does not comply with one of the articles of the land use plan (POS).
