Following the last checks carried out by the authorities, a drinking establishment in Quartier d'Orléans is subject to an administrative closure for two months following findings of violations of the regulations relating to drinking establishments, of the legislation of work and non-compliance with health protection measures within the establishment.
An unauthorized concert was scheduled on the site on February 6 without presentation to the prefecture of the planned health protection measures and at a time that did not allow the closing times imposed on drinking establishments to be respected, it was therefore canceled. In the event that the organizer maintains the holding of the event while the virus is actively circulating on our territory, the Prefect will refer the matter to the Public Prosecutor with a view to legal proceedings for endangering the lives of others. Those present would also be liable to a fine of € 135 for non-compliance with health protection measures.
At the same time, two establishments in Grand-Case have also been closed since last Friday for non-compliance with health measures. In particular, the presence of many people standing without masks was noted by the police, both among customers and employees of establishments.
As a reminder, the health rules currently in force are:
• wearing of masks by customers who move inside the establishment;
• wearing of masks by establishment employees;
• ensure that customers in a drinking establishment are seated;
• enforce the maximum number of 6 people around the same table;
• enforce social distancing within the establishment as well as barrier gestures.
