ROAD SAFETY / Control of two-wheelers in Concordia: numerous offenses noted by the gendarmes

A new operation to control motorized two-wheelers was carried out last Tuesday morning in the Concordia sector by the gendarmes to continue to fight against road insecurity. Numerous offenses were noted by the police.

During this operation which mobilized numerous road police from Spring to Concordia (opposite the Daniella Jeffry high school and the Mont des Accords college, editor's note), several traffic violations were noted. In total, eleven offenses were noted by the police, four scooters having been the subject of administrative seizure.

This check specifically targeting two-wheelers also allowed the military to find a stolen motorcycle as well as to arrest an individual wanted by the police. _AF
