On Monday, December 27, a report for the disappearance of a minor was made at the Philipsburg police station by the grandmother of Jurmain Ishmael Jozef Damenie.
Born in Suriname on January 8, 2008, young Jurmain was last seen a few days ago by his grandmother. He left home after arguing with her and hasn't come home since. Jurmain did not contact his grandmother or any of his family members.
The teenager, who will turn 14 in a few days, is slim in stature, has a dark brown complexion, brown eyes and black hair. When he disappeared he was dressed in blue pants and was not wearing a shirt.
Sint Maarten police are asking for the public's help in locating Jurmain Ishmael Jozef Damenie.
