Sint-Maarten: Dutch police set up a roadblock on the border of Cupecoy!

0

The Sandy Ground bridge was blocked yesterday morning by demonstrators, so it was recommended to go through Cupecoy.

However, the Sint Maarten police set up a roadblock at the Cupecoy border and did not give up access to the only motorists who had to go to Terres Basses and Baie Nettlé. The police asked the other drivers to go through Bellevue to reach the French side.

The police explained to motorists that the roadblock in Cupecoy was set up to divert traffic, the Sandy Ground bridge being blocked by a demonstration of “yellow vests”.
