Born of a partnership between the SXM Animal Collective and Tania de Colibri Massage SXM in mid-2022 on a monthly basis, Yoga Karma on Orient Bay Beach is now held every Thursday at 17:45 p.m.
With the aim of raising funds for the association in order to continue its work of raising awareness of the animal cause and rescuing stray dogs and cats, the Collectif Animaux SXM invites anyone wishing to treat themselves to a moment of well-being in an idyllic setting with Yoga Karma sessions given by Tania. Same formula as last year, donations are free to access the sessions which take place every Thursday at 17:45 p.m. on the beach of Orient Bay, at KKO Beach. While it is advisable to donate around twenty euros, the average price of a one-hour yoga session, donations in kind (food for animals) are also welcome. At a time when the situation of stray animals continues to worsen in the territory of Saint-Martin, the Collectif Animaux SXM offers the population an original way to contribute to their actions. By offering you this moment of relaxation on the beach at an ideal time to enjoy the sunset while taking care of yourself, you will actively participate in the rescue of the animals on the island. During previous editions, many people were able to discover the daily work of the association whose representatives will be present every Thursday to discuss with the participants. To attend a karma yoga session, there is no need to practice discipline assiduously, beginners are welcome, as well as confirmed. Bring a towel, a bottle of water and your good mood. The experience is as beneficial for the body as it is for the mind. Thanks to you and the generosity of Tania, who hosts each session on a voluntary basis, the Collectif Animaux SXM will continue its work of preserving animal welfare in a territory that greatly needs it.
