The SXM Animals Collective will soon launch its first raffle which aims to collect donations to allow the association to continue its work of rescuing Saint-Martin dogs. Shopkeepers, restaurateurs, hoteliers, service providers, this call for generosity is addressed to you.
The principle of the raffle is known to all, it is a game of chance which allows you to win prizes of a variable nature by means of a draw. The SXM Animals Collective therefore calls on all professionals wishing to put into play prizes of their choice to offer a raffle worthy of the name. Whether shopping vouchers, lunch or dinner in a restaurant, a boat trip, a jet ski tour or kayak rental, one or more nights in a hotel, jewelry and accessories , objects offered for sale, any lot is welcome and all ideas are good. The association needs you more than ever to continue to work for this cause that affects everyone: those of the abandoned animals of Saint-Martin. Since the creation of the SXM Animal Collective at the end of September 2021, around a hundred dogs have been cared for thanks to the help of the founders. Since the collective officially became an association on May 9, 2022, around forty dogs have been adopted due to the hard work of association representatives and volunteers. Although the SXM Animal Collective focuses its efforts on the care of dogs, it has helped to sterilize about ten cats and adopt four. The Collective needs you to increase these results and cover veterinary, administrative and travel costs, food, cages, sterilizations, etc. The raffle will take place on Saturday December 3 at the Garden in Cul-de-Sac. The sale of raffle tickets, at the single price of €5, will take place from November 19. Tickets will be available at the Garden and at the veterinary clinic in Grand-Case. People wishing to participate online can contact the association directly (see info). But before that, that the generous donors of the prize come forward with the Collective before November 19 in order to make this raffle memorable and above all, that the coconut dogs can benefit from it. Thanks for them. _VX
