Suspension of the hunting of 3 species


Following the hearing of September 8, 2021 ruling on the application for interim relief filed by the Association for the Protection of Wild Animals (ASPAS), the Association for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Antilles Fauna (ASFA), and the Toto-Bois Association for the Study and Protection of Wildlife in the Lesser Antilles (AEVA), relating to the suspension of the hunting of the red-necked pigeon, the red-necked dove and the Hudsonian barge, the administrative court of Guadeloupe rendered its decision on September 10, 2021.

Thus, by ordinance n ° 2100969, the administrative court suspended the hunting, for the season of 2021-2022, in Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin of the following three species:

- the red-necked pigeon;

- the rouviolette dove  ;

- the Hudsonian barge.

This suspension applies from September 10, 2021 to Sunday January 2, 2022, date of the end of the 2021-2022 hunting season in Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin.

The other hunting methods relating to the 2021-2022 season in Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin provided for respectively by the decrees DEAL / RN 971-2021-06-22-00005 and DEAL / RN 971-2021-06-22-00004 of June 22, 2021 remain unchanged.
