“Taste of the Caribbean”: a meeting place for gourmets


“Taste of the Caribbean” is a renowned culinary competition that takes place in Miami: this event, organized by the “Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association”, is open to the best chefs of the Caribbean until tomorrow, and our island is of course represented, alongside Anguilla, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and Jamaica. Among the participants, chef David Cudicio of the Dreams restaurant, located in Nettle Bay. As part of this event created in 1993, several titles will be awarded, including the best chef and the best pastry chef. Last year, Jonathan Hernandez of Puerto Rico was voted best chef in the Caribbean. The awards ceremony will take place tomorrow night at the Hyatt Regency.
