Last weekend took place in Martinique the TSV competition at the ACOM club.
During this competition called the Challenge PABLO Camille, we noted of course the presence of Martinique, Guadeloupe, not to mention the Saint-Martin team who came in force to defend the ASMT shooting club!
This competition allows qualification at the regional level.
The start of the shooting started at 8 a.m. and ended at 17 p.m.
The courses were very technical and complex, you had to be vigilant to be able to finish them without penalties or disqualification for lack of security, the watchword for this sport.
Direction the French championships in Châteauroux…
Indeed, it is not enough just to shoot at paper targets but also at moving targets and metal supports with distances of up to 50 meters sometimes.
No less than seven members of the ASMT club of Saint-Martin made the trip to participate in this sporting event.
They had to compete on 12 courses in which the shooters were able to demonstrate their shooting skills in speed and precision.
Each competitor has a belt called a holster with the chargers on it. The latter must calculate its recharging so as not to fall dry during the race.
In summary, we must shoot as quickly as possible in order to score the most points and thus be the best!
The results :
• In Standard Division:
- Laurent renaud silver
- Bronze Caneppele Thierry
• In the Open division:
- Bronze Corassadjian Pierre
• In the Production division:
- Bronze Caneppele Stéphanie
Note that Saint-Martin will be represented as a team and individually at the French championships organized in Châteauroux.
