The Saint-Martin Nature Reserve team invites sea turtle lovers to the “Kozé toti” evening at the Sandy Ground cultural center at 18 pm on Wednesday. This free event - hosted in particular by Julien Chalifour, head of the scientific center - will be an opportunity for the public to get to know them better, and to learn a little more about the protective actions put in place. “On November 19, 1991, the order for the integral protection of marine turtles in Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin came into force,” recalls the reserve on its Facebook page. To celebrate this anniversary, the National Office for Hunting and Wildlife (ONCFS) is coordinating a series of actions - Northern Islands and Guadeloupe - until mid-December - including Wednesday evening. _EH
