The hall and the football field of the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium in Marigot have been operational for several months now. Only the stadium stands are missing for the sports complex to be completely rehabilitated.
A shortage that will soon be filled, repair work on the metal frame, badly damaged by Hurricane Irma, started on February 18.
In addition, these are all the roofs of the infrastructures adjoining the stadium, the toilets, the space dedicated to guarding and storage of the materials that are currently being worked on. After four months of work necessary for the rehabilitation of these metal covers, the sports complex will be fully ready to accommodate sports activities during the summer and sports training for schools from the start of the next school year.
Under the aegis of the Vice-President, Valérie Damaseau and the Director of Sports, Charles Henri Palvair, this project is progressing as planned.
The cost of the rehabilitation of all these roofs is 160 euros.
The exterior wall would also need a big boost !!
