The kickoff of the Saint-Barthélemy Music Festival took place yesterday at the Anglican Church of Gustavia with notably Carson Becke on piano and Emil Beronius Magras on transverse flute. As part of this 33rd edition, around sixty artists will perform until January 22. “Every year our festival continues to innovate, to progress, and always with the highest possible quality (…) We have planned world-famous classical music, as well as opera and jazz, dance and educational and awareness programs for seniors, ”said Frances De Broff, co-founder and president, in her welcome address. Next meeting: the “concert for music lovers” tomorrow at 20pm at the Anglican Church. The program is available on the official website: www.stbartsmusicfestival.org. _EH
