Three days before the first round of the legislative elections, we examined the activity of Daniel Gibbs in the National Assembly during his mandate thanks to the data posted on the site nosdeputes.fr. Since his election in June 2012, Daniel Gibbs has spent 75 weeks in the National Assembly (in committees and in the hemicycle), participated in 135 meetings in committees where he has spoken 92 times. In the hemicycle it totals 157 long and 62 short interventions. During his 47 months in office, Daniel Gibbs proposed 71 amendments. He is the author of four reports and of a bill (judicial cooperation for Saint Martin) which has been adopted. He also signed legislative proposals which were adopted, for a total of 65. He asked twelve written and ten oral questions to the government. More details on www.soualigapost.com

I redo the account over 60 months (duration of the mandate of deputy) Which makes 240 weeks, only 75 weeks of presence at the NA! Basically 1/3 of presence, it is very little! We can say that some deputies hardly ever sit there !!!! But all the same given the remuneration and the advantages linked to this function, it is asgueule routing !!! Am very disappointed Mr. President GIBBES !!! Hopefully for our community of St Martin it will be different and I believe in it!

@Mary: How would you manage to be present at the assembly while moving in your district which is 8000km from Paris?
