The Environment and Energy Management Agency (Ademe) Guadeloupe is launching an awareness campaign in Saint-Martin concerning the collection of used oils for professionals and individuals.
The objective of this operation - which will run until June 30 - is to improve the collection rate of these poorly biodegradable oils, and to ensure quality collection. This campaign will thus make it possible to “make all holders of used oil aware of the challenges” of this sector, ”explains Ademe. For three months, good storage practices will be reminded to professionals. As for individuals, they will be invited to return their oils to the Galisbay recycling center.
