“I wish people would stop living in fear and accept that Covid is part of our lives. Tourists have always had access to Saint-Martin, first European and then American. The bars are open, the restaurants are open, people are going out dancing and living their lives here for months. If the virus were that contagious, hospitals on either side of the island would have been inundated for weeks by thousands of residents infected or isolated at home. This is clearly not the case, some measures may or may not help. We ignore this as no one follows up fearing to contradict government actions. I'm glad we haven't succumbed to the containment hysteria. So for 2021, I have my fingers crossed for the future of the world. " Fred
